Where do I find Group I.T documents?

Please login to Genie --> Group --> information technology. You can find documents related to GAC Group I.T. policies, Who-does-what, Roles and Responsibilities of System Owner / Business Expert / I.T. Manager / Company Manager etc. in relation to the business application.

How do I get access to a business application?

Contact your local I.T. Manager or System owner in your office.

Why is it not recommended to share business application logins?

Two reasons. Firstly, it is the policy that every user has their own account and secondly, it enables us to track who does what (audit trail). Please don`t share logins.

Can we see our business applications externally?

No. All our business applications are for internal GAC usage only.

Can we add system functionalities, EDI interface etc. into our business application to cater client`s business requirements?

Yes, the purpose of developing our business application in-house, is predominantly to cater to our customer`s requirements. GAC is in control of its destiny by developing business applications in-house and it gives us the flexibility to enhance our system.

How can I request new (or changes to existing) functionality to an application?

If you have a good suggestion that is specific to an application, please e-mail a business expert or contact Group I.T. Project Manager of the application.
